Residential Log Home Construction

Guild Log and Timber is a Texas based specialty log home framer and turn-key contractor. We work for home owners, mortgage companies, architects and general contractors. Everything from milled to handcrafted timber products, can be produced to suit your needs. We have many relationships with various log home package producers and mills, giving us a broad range of product types for each persons budget and aesthetic requirements.

What sets our work apart is the crew behind it. Every log we set is handled by the same team that's been doing this for over two decades. We don't sub out the framing, we don't rotate labor, and we don't cut corners on fit and finish. A log home is only as good as the people who stack it. Improper settling allowances, bad notch work, or rushed weathering details will cost you for years. We build it right the first time.

Art & Historic Log Cabin Restoration Services

We are masters of art & historic log cabin restoration services. We can find antique replacement parts and make that perfect match for historic exhibits, parks , family homes, custom carvings and commercial applications. We have examples of historical restoration all over Texas.

Reclaiming old carvings and handcrafted woodwork is one of the more rewarding parts of what we do. Decades of weather, neglect, and structural rot can
bury the original craftsmanship, but it's rarely gone. We've taken rotted totem poles apart character by character, refinished each piece, and mounted
them on new structural bases. We've pulled century-old cabin logs out of collapse and put them back where they belong. If it was built by hand and it
matters to someone, we can bring it back.
